Just Another Day

Tomorrow, my friends and I will be sitting for another paper. Innovation and Creativity. From the sounds of it, I know it does not sound that hard or complicating, etc. BUT mind you that it is EXTREMELY and FREAKING BORING to study that subject. Yen Pin and I had trouble studying it yesterday even though we were at the library. It was just that BORING. -Sigh- But something did caught our attention. Someone bringing her pillow to the library and she was hugging it closely. Like a "chao-chao" gang member! Lol! Here she is anyway..

Never knew someone would do that. I wanted to once actually but Yen Pin said she would blog of me and my pillow if I did. But this was just pretty funny.

Anyway, we ended yesterday with early dinner and then badminton for three hours long. Hmm.. I believe I am getting better at it these days. Maybe I can go back and play with Sandra one day. Lol. Anyway, Yen Pin and I played doubles and we got really naughty. We ended smashing the shuttlecock at Ke Yin 9 times. Wanted to make it 10 but failed. Lol. But she did retaliate anyway. She hit Yen Pin back 4 times. And I even smashed the shuttlecock at the back at Yen Pin's head once too. I bet that hurt a lot. I hit it really hard. Really sorry, Crabp. But I guess we are even since she also hit me with the racquet once on my head! Hmm.. Doubles sound dangerous eh? Anyway, that is all we did yesterday.

As for today, it would be just another ordinary day, I guess. Eat, librart, study, eat and sleep. Hmm.. That is life during exams, I guess. Lol.

P.S: Arsenal fans, we drew last night. Goalless draw with Fenerbache. And to Professor Dr Tajudin, Manchester United also drew last night. 1-1. Ryan Giggs with a late equaliser to salvage a point for The Red Devils.

A Very Tiring Yet Interesting And Fun Day

My day started off with really good news as early as 12.01a.m. (see previous blog entry for details). Then continued studying silly TITAS. Memorising actually. Slept at 2a.m. after chatting with a few friends in Hui Ling's room. They even 'interviewed' me regarding some stuffs. Woke up at 6a.m.. My roommate was shocked to see me awake so early. I normally sleep til around 9a.m. and never wake up that early since the orientation week! Lol. Anyway, did more memorising and it paid off really well. Think I aced my TITAS. Really happy to have done so. Got back and had lunch. Chicken yet again. 9 meals with chicken in 10 days. What a record! Lol. Then I took a nap to catch up with my sleep til about 4p.m.. Afterwhich I went to meet up with my lecturer and it was really nice talking to him. I was kinda nervous and uncomfortable at first but as the conversation went on, it felt really good to talk to him. Best lecturer of the semester to me. Anyway, got back at 6p.m. and persuaded my friends to play futsal. We had 8 players today. It was really fun. Sya and Fatanah joined us for the first time since the tournament and Ain came as well. It was just SO MUCH FUN. Made lots of noise as well. Haha. Won 3-1 too! Lol. After cleaning myself up, went to get dinner with my 9 close friends. Was kinda roudy but who cares. Lol. Laugh A LOT again with Crabp and May Peng. But not as much as last night (Crabp, Siew Fen, Soo Chen, May Peng and I had Laughing McDonald's Meal last night and laughed til we almost puke!). Anyway, that was my day today. It was really tiring but it was just SO MUCH FUN.

On another note, in the world of sports, Britain's Lewis Hamilton is officially the youngest Formula One driver to have won the Drivers' World Championship. Was a bit lucky if you asked me. Won it in the last lap. Felipe Massa led the pack for most of the race but Lewis kinda snatched fifth place in the very last lap to beat Felipe by a single point in the final standings. So the drivers' title goes to McLaren's Lewis Hamilton while the constructors' title goes to Ferrari. Defending champion, Kimi Raikonnen, finished fourth in the overal standings.

In the Barclay's Premier League, Arsenal slipped to their third defeat of the season when they lost to newly promoted Stoke City 2-1. It's hard to see where they'll finish the season now. They only lost 3 matches the whole of last season and already the same amount in 11 matches this season. The defeat also saw them pushed down to fourth behind Manchester United who defeated Hull City 4-3. Chelsea also leap-frog Liverpool after they smashed Sunderland 5-0 while The Reds lost to Tottenham 2-1.

Well, that's a wrap!

One Down, Five More

Asthe title suggests, today, I had my TITAS paper and I am done with it! It was realtively easy considering the paper was filled with recycled past years questions. Lol. Anyway, 5 more to go and I am done with my first semester!!

MORE BRAGGING!!!! Lol

Today was just an ordinary day until I got a text from my favourite lecturer asking me if I am still awake to check my e-mail. As I am, I did as I am told too. Guess what? Here is his e-mail!!

Hi Grace,

Whatz up! Guess you must be busy studying for yor final exam eh . . . or busy watching your favourite team playing football . . . ha hah. . .

For you information, I'm currently working on my Tajma Personality Profile (the one that you took online) and need someone to help me with the revised edition. After looking around, I thought you would be the best person to help me with it. Therefore, I'm wondering if you would like to work with me as my Research Assistant. If you're interested, please let me know and we could meet to discuss on the terms of reference.

Till then, catch up with you again soon. Take care . . . :-)

Prof.T

So what do I do? I accepted of course. I never knew I would get an opportunity like this so quickly since I am only in my first semester. Furthermore, he is the director of the Counseling and Career Development Centre in UTM. He has so many to choose and he chose me!! I am over the moon now. Haha..

Anyway, I am still studying for my TITAS tomorrow! Will write later. Just can't hold my feelings in and had to blog about it. Lol. And good luck to all my friends who are taking their finals and read this!

Help Hayden Save Whales And Dolphins

Whales and dolphins are practically harmless right? So if you have Facebook, MySpace, etc, go on to:

http://www.socialvibe.com/

Or just click the pink tag, "Join Now" link on the gadget you see on the top right.

On Socialvibe.com, you will see "Join Hayden from Heroes in supporting The Whaleman Foundation".

Click it and follow the instructions given and lastly, sign the petition to stop whaling in Japan, Norway and Iceland.

It only takes minutes and might just save many whales and dolphins.

And below is a video on dolphin hunting in Japan. Viewer discretion is advised.

Thank you.
