My Awesome Trip To Kuching!!!

So I think it is about time that I blog again. Since it has been ages since I last do so. Anyway, you may find another post of this trip at http://iammiko.blogspot.com/. It is a good one. Anyhow, my side of the story now. Lol

We left shortly after our finals (will blog about results soon enough). On the 11th of November to be exact and stayed for a whole 2 weeks! At first I did think it would be too long but now that I look back, it was a good length of time. I just hope I did not trouble Yen Pin's mother too much. Lol.

So on the 11th of November was the first time I flew and it was awesome. Ok. I don't wanna sound like a ignorant person here but it was really nice. I love the taking off and landing especially. Everything in between except turning is boring. The taking off of an airplane needs a lot of speed as one would know and the g-force of the airplane hitting that speed is just amazing. You feel your body launching back and then your stomach feels a little weird when it lifts into the air. And the landing..err..it is nothing much but like a bump. Haha.

So when we were there, I kinda hit it off with Yen Pin's mum almost immediately. Spoke to her right away when she picked us up. May Peng must be counting her stars that night that I managed to take Yen Pin's mum (I shall refer her as Auntie from now on) off her. Lol. So Yen Pin's house was a lot smaller than I had imagined too. I always thought she lived in a huge house for some reason. Haha. But it is really comfortable and nice. And the service there is awesome. Hehe. Oh yeah. Her brother, Derek, is nice too. If only I knew how to talk to him better though. -Sigh- And her dad..scary?? Lol. But still a nice man, I guess. Well, I don't know enough to judge. He was hardly at home anyway.

Ok. Enough on her family and home.

So the first thing I did there was 'technical stuffs'. Really. I was the Art Technician. Specialised in cutting and preparing double-sided tapes. Lol. My boss? Miss Siu Yen Pin. Lol. She was helping her brother in his assignment and knowing there was so much to do, I 'kepo-kepo' helped her and came to know as the technical person. Lol. Oh yeah. Did I mention that her brother is this super awesome artist? Her family must be the most artistic family I've come to know. Lol. But really, they are. Her brother drew this 'Sarawak rainforest' thingy and it was so beautiful. I have a picture of it but I don't suppose I should put it on here in case some other artist might come on here and then mimic his artwork! Lol. So the first day of our trip was that.

Then soon enough, we went to Jong’s Crocodile park. And I must say that Auntie’s timing is always good. Because she always manages to bring us to places at the right time. We went there right when they were having feeding time and so we managed to see the crocs in action. There was also a mini zoo there (like Yen Pin said) and we saw deers, goat (I ‘talked’ to it???), wild boars, monkeys, otters and other animals. Oh yeah. the otters were having their before mating ritual, I think (again, Auntie’s good timing). Lol

Awesome huh? We also went to a pitcher plant farm after that and I should say there was nothing there. –Sigh- Then, we visited some museums and again, awesome timing. Just before it close. Ok. Don’t get me wrong here. What I meant is that Auntie manages to bring us there despite having to do it all by 4.30p.m. (closing time).

The next day (15th November), we went to Friendship Park (it is a park to commemorate the relationship between Malaysia and China). There was nothing much there but we somehow managed a contest called ‘Mimic the Horny Cats Statue’ and I think it is clear that Yen Pin and I won that. Anyway, due to some technical difficulties (also like Yen Pin said), I should mention no more about it (but for pictures..really funny ones on this contest, do go to my Facebook. Lol). And at night (I think it was this night), Uncle (Yen Pin’s dad) treated us to a meal at a seafood restaurant and the food was yummy! Thanks, Uncle (although I highly doubt Yen Pin would show this to him).

Alright then. 16th November. We ‘bungkus’ a huge area on this day. Mainly, Main Bazaar and I can’t remember what else (full details at the earlier address I mentioned). So we did some souvenir buying on here and A LOT of walking. Lol. But it was a good day overall. Fun too. Oh yeah. We ‘bungkus’ the temple too. Tua Pek Kong, I think.

Tua Pek Kong.

The most colourful shopping centre I have ever seen.

Then Foon Yee left (and there were 3 visitors left). Anyway, on the 17th, we went to Sarawak Cultural Village. It was a pretty long drive up there but once there, we got to see Sarawak natives’ stuffs. Their dancing, ritual and houses. And then we also went to Damai Beach which was nothing actually. What a waste.

Now I can’t remember what we did on the 18th, so I shall skip to 19th. We went to another temple. 2 temples actually. The first was a little one with beautiful carvings. Taught the dinosaurs about turtle/terrapin/tortoise there. Lol. Then to a temple featuring a huge (not that huge though) Goddess of Mercy. There, I made friend with the ‘Chi Ling’. Hehe. And I think that is it for this day.

The first temple.

Turtle/terrapin/tortoise lesson.

Goddess of Mercy.

Meet my friend, Chi Ling!! Mimicing him here.

Don't I like my friend? Lol.

Again, I don’t recall what was done on the 20th and so I am skipping to 21st November (Happy Birthday, Sandra!!!). We visited 3 places on that day. The first is Wind Cave. VERY CREEPY. Because it is so dark and there were no guides but we five girls toughen ourselves anyway and explore the cave. Hehe. Next was Fairy Cave, the nicer one between the two. And less creepy. Lol. Then Semantan beach. This one is so far away that I had to do the driving. An hour’s drive in fact but the beach was nice and May Peng (again, like Yen Pin said) was so happy to collect seashells and almost drown (and Soo Chen watched and not help till May Peng was so close to drowning). Lol.

Entrance to Wind Cave.

Entrance to Fairy Cave. 120 steps up.

Us at Fairy Cave. -Sigh- Missing Chomper. -Sigh-

Now the remaining days were subtle and we did nothing much but it was still interesting days. Soo Chen then left us on the 24th and it was down to 2 visitors. May Peng and I eventually left on the 27th.

Anyway, while I was there, I managed to show off my cooking skill 3 times. Lol. One of them is a failure though. I cooked spaghetti twice and lasagna once. The failure was the lasagna, mainly because there was no oven. But overall, I think Auntie and Derek liked them. I sure hope they did! Lol. I also managed to try many local stuffs. Sarawak ‘laksa’, ‘kueh chap’ and finally tried and like ‘rui cha’ (please forgive my spellings if there is any errors). Also tried the infamous drink, ‘teh ci peng special’. And I LOVE it. And I would drink it almost everyday and get hyper. Hehe. There, I also visited and watched movie 3 times at MBO Cinemas (2012, A Christmas Carol and New Moon). In addition, I also learnt to make grasshoppers from darling out of coconut leaves and also bought and ate my favourite 'bi pang' (Dear darling Yen Pin and Siew Fen, I have finished my 'bi pang' and if you guys would be so kind as to buy me some more, I would be so happy! Do let me know before you buy though. Hehe.)

And with that, I think I have come to the end of my post. I hope you’ve enjoyed reading this and I certainly hope my ability to amuse readers who bump into this blog is still there with this post. Have a nice day!! And remember, for more pictures, go over to my Facebook. =)

P.S: Thank you so very much to Uncle, Auntie, Derek and darling Yen Pin for making this trip possible. Without the provided accommodation, I would not have make it there yet. Thank you also for all the meals provided and the warm hospitality. In addition, thank you for being wonderful tour guides (Auntie, darling and Siew Fen). In brief, thank you for everything and if I was of any nuisance (with my silly OCDness, sinus, etc) while I was there, I am so sorry and I am so grateful for everything. =)

Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian

This movie, I have to say, is as good as its prequel. Love it. And it is more hilarious also.

The plot of the story goes something like this:
Two years after Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) defeated the 3 old night guards, he is now head of Daley Devices, a company that he founded to manufacture his inventions. Then, he finds that the American Museum of Natural History is closed for upgrades and renovations and some of the museum pieces are being replaced by interactive holograms. The actual exhibits are moved to the Federal Archives at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington DC. On the last night, Larry meets the museum pieces such as Teddy Roosevelt (Robin Williams), Rexy the Tyrannosaurus Skeleton, and Dexter the Monkey and finds out that several exhibits, including Teddy, Rexy, the Easter Island Head, and Ahkmenrah (Rami Malek) are not moving to The Smithsonian Institution - the other exhibits will no longer be animated. The next night, Larry gets a call from Jedediah (Owen Wilson), saying that Dexter stole the tablet and that Kahmunrah (Hank Azaria), Ahkmenrah's older brother, is attacking them. Larry takes a plane to Washington and visits the National Air and Space Museum, the National Gallery of Art and the Smithsonian Castle to find the Federal Archives with the help of his son Nick (Jake Cherry). And then bla bla bla and he saves the day.
Lol. You wanna know more, go watch it.

Anyway, I would love to point out a few parts of the movie that I love.

1. Kahmunrah was introducing himself to Larry about how he is back to life and Larry just doesn't give a damn. He repeated that so many times to get a reaction but failed. Lol.

2. A red balloon poodle that was bouncing around happily. It is SO CUTE. And I love it. But I noticed that it actually kinda flew towards the end of the movie. But it is still SO CUTE!! And it is huge as well.

The poodle look something like this only in red.

3. Darth Vader of Star Wars and Sesame Street's Oscar the Grouch made cameos. They wanted to join Kahmunrah's legion of evil but didn't qualify. Kahmunrah even asked if Darth Vader had asthma as he breathes heavily. Lol!

4. SUPER CUTE and FUNNY booblehead Albert Einstein(s). They were really adorable.

Albert Einstein's booble head. They were much cuter in the movie though. Lol.

Couch Potatoes!

Yup. That's right. That is what I have been doing a lot after my finals. So I managed to catch up with a few movies and I think I have to speak my mind about them now.

Twilight
I know I am very late. But I don't think the movie did justice towards the book at all. I got the book recently (actually I got it because I wasn't satisfied with the movie and knew the book would definately offer more) and although I am still not done with it yet, the standards of the movie is nowhere near the book's. The book is just SO MUCH BETTER.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine
This to me is a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. Thankfully my friend downloaded it or else I would be cursing myself for giving away at least 9 bucks to catch this show in the cinemas. I expected so much more due to all the anticipation, etc. Turns out that is just another one of those meaningless superheroes movie. This, I believe, is the worst installment of X-Men. And I read online that they are gonna do another X-Men Origins on the guy who can't stop talking. Geez. Is there anything to tell about him?

Wild Child
What can I say. It is just another one of those movies.

August Rush
Awesome movie with awesome music but the ending was sucky. How could he have known who his parents were by just looking? -Sigh-

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
This is an awesome movie. Although it is dry and slow at times but it has an awesome storyline to make up for its flaws. And Brad Pitt, is just SO HOT.

Slumdog Millionaire
I totally understand why this movie won so many awards at this year's Oscars. If Benjamin Button is awesome, this movie is totally wicked. And it is also a sad one. Oh yeah. I have to say that I really despise the stupid host of that Who Wants To Be A Millionaire show. He has this stupid face that people just have to hate and his stupid attitude is just pain in the neck. But all in all, it was a brilliant show. It is just really sad thing though that the child actors of this movie are still in real slums themselves, battling to live a life especially Rubina Ali. -Sigh- Poor fellows.

Inkheart
This is another good movie. Very interesting but I think the ending was kinda pathetic. I wished there was a better ending to it. The ending gave me the impression that the movie was meaningless because Brendon Fraser could have just wrote his own story and bring back his wife and set everything straight in the first place. Like his daughter did at the end. He didn't even had to spend years finding the book actually. I make sense, don't I? Lol. Anyway, it was still a good movie.

According to my post in January, "Most Anticipated Movies Of 2009", I think I missed Monster vs Aliens. I will have to download it soon. I also have The International, Race To The Witch Mountain, Marley And Me, Taken and The Ghosts of Girlfriend's Past to download. -Sigh- Hopefully I wouldn't grow old downloading them. Lol.

This month will also see Angels & Demons, Bruno, Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, Terminator Salvation and Up hitting the cinemas. I will definately catch Angels & Demons and Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian for sure and would probably leave the other 3 out. But then again, Up is a cartoon by Disney and I never miss their cartoons. Lol.

And next month, Transformers 2 will be on! Yay! And the month after, Harry Potter 6! Double yay! Guess I will probably be dragging my friends out to catch that show if I am already back in Johor by then. But I doubt they need drgging. Lol.

Relieved!!

-Phew- I am finally feeling so relieved! I have been having anxiety (a little) since knowing I will be presenting my impromptu speech today. However it is now done and dust and I think I scored a 9 out of 10! Yippee! (If I saw my marks correctly. Lol.) Anyway, after we were all done with our speeches, we then headed over to JJ to have our long awaited pizza! Had a lot of cheese too. The container of cheese powder was almost empty by the time 'darling' and I were done with it! Mostly, though, it was my doing. And 'darling' was feeling extra generous today? Gave me an extra piece for dinner. Lol.

And yesterday, May Peng, Siew Fen, 'darling' and I went out with a bunch of IK people for dinner and supposely bowling. But the bowling alley was kinda packed. So we ended up at Danga Bay, doing crazy stuffs (racing one another on family bicycles). Lol. So I met some new people yesterday and I think they were kinda nice. Friendly too. One guy named Moses is kinda nosey. He kept asking me questions. Felt like I was interviewed. My 'driver', Eric was kinda nice too. Then there was a girl named..umm..'something' Fen who was also nice. She also said I looked like a friend of hers. Lol. And there was also one more called Phui See? God knows how to spell all these Chinese names. But I heard she goes by the name 'sotong' as well. So let us just keep it that way. According to 'darling', sotong was looking forward to see me and well, her dream came true last night. So anyway, the IK people were all nice and fun. So it was a pretty good night.

Now sports. Tonight, Arsenal will be facing Sunderland. Shouldn't be a problem, I think. New signing, Arshavin should debut although it is still unsure if he will start or benched. Nevertheless, I hope Arsenal will knick past the Black Cats. And Monday night hero, Eduardo is once again injured. He suffered a slight hamstring problem last Monday and will be out for at least 2 weeks.

Next, yesterday, 'darling' and I (and Soo Chen for the first half of the movie) watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and although the movie is quite slow, I felt that it has a nice story line and it was pretty interesting. And Brad Pitt, he looked awesome. Lol!

And that is a wrap!

TRANSFORMERS TRAILER!!

People out there who just love the first Transformers, check this out. I know it is a bit late but it is never too late right? Lol. So below is a trailer of what to expect in the upcoming Transformers 2: Revenge of The Fallen. I think it is gonna be brilliant but like I have said before, all I ever hope when it comes to sequel is that it at least equals it's prequel. -Sigh- Many sequels have failed to do so but I am crossing my fingers that this wouldn't 'cause I will have to wait till this JUNE to watch it!!!!

Most Anticipated Movies Of 2009

I was serving the net yesterday and stumbled upon this on Yahoo!. Most Anticipated Movies of 2009. Below are the titles, screening dates, a gist of what they are all about and the casts involved. Oh yeah. And my opinion on them too. Lol

3/6 Watchmen
Malin Akerman, Billy Crudup, Patrick Wilson and Carla Gugino star in this adaptation of the famed graphic novel by Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons. (I have seen the trailer for this movie and I doubt it will be anticipating actually. It looks kinda dull and ridiculous and if trailers don't even excite you, will the movie?)

3/27 Monsters Vs. Aliens
Reese Witherspoon and Hugh Laurie star in this animated flick about a rag-tag band of mutants assembled by the U.S. military to thwart an invasion. (Hmm.. I have only seen the poster of this movie and the alien looks kinda cute. Lol. Anyway, I am a huge fan of Reese's and I am probably gonna watch this.)

4/3 Fast & Furious
Paul Walker and Vin Diesel partner up once again to fight crime and drive really fast. (Hmm.. Never watched any of this installments and probably won't watch this also. Not a big fan of Paul Walker although Vin Diesel is kinda ok.)

5/1 X-Men Origins: Wolverine
Hugh Jackman stars in this prequel to the X-Men trilogy exploring how Logan became the adamantium blade-wielding mutant Wolverine. (I loved and enjoyed all 3 previous installments of X-Men and both Wolverine and Hugh Jackman are my favourites. So I guess I am gonna catch this one too when it hits the big screen.)

5/8 Star Trek
"Lost" creator J. J. Abrams reboots the beloved sci-fi franchise in this prequel exploring the early days of Kirk and Spock. (Never was a fan and never will be.)

5/15 Angels & Demons
Tom Hanks returns as the "Da Vinci Code" cryptologist Robert Langdon to thwart a plot by the Illuminati to blow up the Vatican. (I have always love Tom. His movies are awesome. But "Da Vinci Code" was lame and dull to me. The book was way better. But the trailer to this movie looks cool. I guess I am gonna have to get permission from my dad to watch this or secret watch it. Lol.)

5/15 Bruno
"Borat" mastermind Sacha Baron Cohen is terrorizing an unsuspecting public again as a flamboyant Austrian fashion expert. (No comment on this. But from the sound of it, it sounds like a comedy to me.)

5/22 Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian
When his favorite museum exhibits are accidentally shipped off to the Smithsonian, hapless museum security guard Larry Daley (Ben Stiller) infiltrates that fabled institution to rescue them. (I am a huge fan of Ben. He is really humorous. And the prequel of this is awesome. But sequel, at times, do not live up to its prequel. I am crossing my finger for this to me good.)

5/2 Terminator Salvation
Christian Bale stars in this film which is both a sequel and a prequel to the wildly popular time-travel/killer robot action franchise. (Have always love the Terminator francises and with Christian starring in it, would probably love this also.)

5/29 Up
Pixar follows up on their movies about gourmet rats and lonely robots with this flick about a grumpy old man and his balloon-powered floating house. (Always love Pixar and Disney. Have yet to watch a lousy animation from them and this will most probably not be the first either.)

6/5 Land of the Lost
Will Ferrell stars in this adaptation of the '70s TV show about three people who find themselves in a strange world populated by dinosaurs, monkey people, and reptilian Sleestaks. (Will Ferrell.. Hmm.. Sometimes he acts stupidly and at other times, he is funny. So I have no idea on this one.)

6/19 Year One
Jack Black and Michael Cera are two prehistoric losers in the middle of Biblical events in a comedy from director Harold Ramis. (Jack Black is full of laughter. Probably a good movie to catch.)

6/26 Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
Shia LaBeouf and Megan Fox re-team with director Michael Bay for another action-packed battle between warring robots in disguise. (OMG! The first one was the movie of 2007 to me and I am expecting this to at least be as good or even better the first. I am really waiting for this one to hit the screens.)

7/1 Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs
Manny, Sid, Diego and Ellie are back in this third installment in the "Ice Age" franchise, featuring the voice talents of Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary, and Queen Latifah. (Don't know what crap are they gonna pull out of the hat for this third installment. The second was already a little dull for me but what the hell. Will probably also see the 'nutty' squirrel aagin. Well, maybe it might be good.)

7/1 Public Enemies
Johnny Depp stars as legendary bank robber John Dillinger and Christian Bale is the G-man on his tail in this true crime drama directed by Michael Mann. (Johnny Deep and Christian Bale.. Never gonna miss this one.)

7/10 2012
"Independence Day" and "The Day After Tomorrow" director Roland Emmerich destroys the Earth again, starring John Cusack. (I have enjoyed both Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow and would probably love this too. I just hope the idea of destroying the world again won't be a lame one.)

7/17 Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Harry, Hermione, Ron and friends return to Hogwarts and face Lord Voldemort again in this sixth installment of the series. (Whatever the ratings and reviews are for this movie, I am definately catching this one.)

7/31 Funny People
"Knocked Up" and "40-Year-Old Virgin" creator Judd Apatow writes and directs this drama/comedy about a stand-up comedians starring Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen. (Adam Sandler is one of my favourite comedians and he has never failed to make me laugh. And I doubt he will in this movie.)

8/7 G.I. Joe
A live-action extravaganza based on Hasbro's popular line of action figures starring Channing Tatum, Dennis Quaid and Sienna Miller. (Will most probably leave this one out.)

8/21 Inglorious Basterds
After tackling kung fu action and grindhouse horror, writer/director Quentin Tarantino goes to war with Brad Pitt leading a team of Nazi-hunters. (Brad Pitt.. How can I say no to his movies?)

10/2 Shutter Island
Martin Scorsese directs Leonardo DiCaprio for the fourth time in a thriller about U.S. Marshalls pursuing a female escaped convict. (Martin is a huge director to me and Leonardo is an awesome actor. Most probably another good one to catch.)

10/16 Where the Wild Things Are
Director Spike Jones brings to life Maurice Sendak's classic children's book about a boy transported to a world of monsters. (No comment on this.)

11/6 A Christmas Carol
Jim Carrey plays Scrooge and all of the ghosts in a digital 3D motion-capture movie from director Robert Zemeckis. (I love both Jim Carrey and Robert Zemeckis. And it is a Christmas related movie. Gonna have to watch.)

11/6 The Fantastic Mr. Fox
An animated telling of Roald Dahl's beloved novel from director Wes Anderson ("Rushmore" and "The Royal Tennenbaums"). (Roald Dahl! One of my favourite authors although many would say I am already too old for his books. But nonetheless, he is awesome and I expect the movie adapted from his movie to be great.)

11/6 The Wolfman
Benicio Del Toro stars as a nobleman who, thanks to a werewolf bite, begins regular moonlit massacres of the local folk. (Sounds good but werewolf movies are getting common.)

11/20 Sherlock Holmes
Robert Downey Jr. brings the legendary London sleuth to life, with Jude Law as the faithful Dr. Watson and directed by Guy Ritchie. (Don't know much about this but probably gonna catch it also.)

11/20 New Moon
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart return as Edward and Bella for the second chapter in the "Twilight" series. (Nah.. I'll pass.)

11/28 The Lovely Bones
The adaptation of Alice Sebold's bestselling novel about a the murder of a young girl, directed by Peter Jackson. (I love Peter Jackson and this sounds good.)

12/18 Avatar
James Cameron directs this 3D sci-fi action epic that features ground-breaking, eye-popping special effects. (Never watch the series on Nickelodeon but CraBp would be happy to see this. And it sounds kinda good too anyway.)

12/25 The Princess and the Frog
Disney presents its first traditional hand-drawn animated film in five years with a fairy tale set in New Orleans during the Jazz Age. (I can never say no to Disney's cartoon.)

Well, that is it. From the looks of it, I am probably gonna spend a lot on movies this year. -Sigh- But it is always good to watch movies, ain't it? Especially after a week of horrible lessons in school! Lol! So here's to breaking the bank for most anticipated movies of 2009! And my only hope is they don't disappoint me! Cheers, people!

Disney's Latest Installment, Bolt

So yesterday, I watched Disney's latest cartoon, Bolt. And it was a good cartoon, in my opinion, although I did think it would be funnier. Nonetheless, I would recommend it for others to watch. So there are basically 4 main characters in this cartoon. They are:

Bolt - A canine. Grew up on the set of his show. Believes he has super powers.

Mittens - A stray cat. Down-to-earth. Doesn't quite believe in friendship until Bolt comes along.

Rhino - A hamster. A huge fan of Bolt. Very cute and funny fellow.

Penny - Bolt's 'person'. Loves Bolt very much.

And..some pigeons. They aren't main characters but they are pretty funny and very blur.

Basically, the story is about Bolt who thinks he has super powers. Together with his 'person', Penny, he stars in his own television show. One fine day, he got shipped to New York City by accident and his adventure begins. He first meets 3 smart but very blur pigeons, which took him to Mittens. The duo then set off to find Penny using a map by Waffle World. They then came to know Rhino when they were scarvengering in a RV parking place. Rhino joined them and along the way, Bolt came to know that he isn't that super after all and a friendship between him, Mittens and Rhino sparked. Anyway, long story short, after their long adventure filled with laughter, happiness, discovery and some downs, Bolt is reunited with his Penny.

The three pigeons trying to recall where they have seen Bolt before

Bolt learning that dogs like sticking their heads out of moving vehicles

Bolt's devastating Superbark

Waffle World Map

So there you go. A good cartoon. Also made me cried a little. Just some really touching parts. But still awesome!

Just Another Day

Yet another boring day. Watched The Dark Knight earlier today and the movie was an awesome one. Can't believe I did not catch it in the theaters. It is a really long too. But not a boring part to take one's eyes off the screen. And I think the late Heath Ledger played his role as the sinister Joker very well. Too bad he's gone. The world lost one heck of an actor the day he left.

Anyway, that is practically what I did the whole day. Watch TV, listening and downloading songs and sleep. Really boring. Thankfully I am off to a trip tomorrow. Hopefully that will be more fun.

Quantum of Solace and Madagascar 2

So I finally watched Quantum of Solace today and it wasn't as good as I expected it to be. After a smashing Casino Royale, I knew it would be kinda hard to top that but this time, Bond really disappoint me. Don't get me wrong. The actions were suffice but somehow the storyline wasn't. -Sigh- Guess that Sir Sean Connery is still the best Bond after all. And he was so hot especially in Thunderball and I know I am probably old school for saying so. But he just is and I love Bond most when he played the role. I still remember watching a string of Bond films on Star World earlier this year. One after another and enjoy Sean's the best. Below are all the 7 Bond movies that Sean acted in.

Don't really remember this one

One of the all time best Bond movies

Remember learning about Fort Knox in this installment

Thunderball! My favourite. And in this installment, it is the only time, Bond actually wore a swimming trunk that was not black. It was orange. Lots of actions under water in this movie.

This is also awesome. And the screenplay was also written by one of my favourite author, Roald Dahl!!

"Diamonds are forever" Lol. Only remember theme song well.

Sean's last Bond movie. Actually he was supposed to stop after Diamonds Are Forever but I am glad he did another

So those 7 are 7 awesome Bond movies. And also hats off to Casino Royale. But Quantum of Solace.. -Sigh-

Also, I watched Madagascar 2: Escape To Africa and it was pretty funny. Alex even have a "chao chao". Sort of. It is a blanket and it is called 'Foofie'. Lol. Guess that makes us, "chao-chao" gang, special eh? Lol.

And that is it! Sleeping time!
