Happy Birthday, Darling!!

Once again, another delayed birthday post. Not that I forgotten about the birthday but it was (ahem) Official Reception Day. Lol. Anyway, 24th June was darling's birthday (so she is no longer 19 now) and we didn't do much (or anything special). Mainly because we were so busy. Like I said. It was Official Reception Day. Haha. But I did spend some 4 hours doing this.

It took me FOUR freaking hours. I don't know why but it did. Anyway, I hope whatever little things we did was good enough to celebrate it. Love ya, darling!

One True Captain (For Now At Least)

Cesc Fabregas admits that Arsenal’s four-year wait for a trophy has been “tough” but he still feels he is in the “right place at the right time” of his career.

The midfielder, currently with Spain at the Confederations Cup, swatted aside rumours linking him with a move to Real Madrid insisting that his side have said “loud and clear” he was not for sale.

The Club captain described himself as “calm” over his future, but remains desperate to win some silverware in North London.

“Of course it’s hard when you give your all and don’t win,” he told Marca, a Spanish newspaper, on Wednesday. “I've just spent four years at Arsenal without winning anything. That is tough.”

Despite his recent protestations to the contrary, Fabregas has been continually linked with a move to one of Spain’s big sides but the player is adamant he will not be going.

“I'm calm and that’s about being in the right place at the right time,” he said. “The Club have already said loud and clear that I am not for sale. I have a contract, I'm captain and they have the final word.”

Texting May Be Good???

Here is an article I found on Yahoo!.

NEW YORK – The nation's newest texting champion has a message for parents across the land — although they might not want to hear it.

"Let your kid text during dinner! Let your kid text during school! It pays off," 15-year-old Kate Moore said Tuesday after winning the LG U.S. National Texting Championship.

After all, she said: "Your kid could win money and publicity and a phone."

For the Des Moines, Iowa, teenager, her 14,000 texts-per-month habit reaped its own rewards, landing her the competition prize of $50,000 just eight months after she got her first cell phone.

Moore, with a speedy and accurate performance, beat out 20 other finalists from around the country over two days of challenges such as texting blindfolded and texting while maneuvering through a moving obstacle course.

In the final showdown, she outtexted 14-year-old Morgan Dynda, of Savannah, Ga. Both girls had to text three lengthy phrases without making any mistakes on the required abbreviations, capitalization or punctuation. Moore squeaked through by a few seconds on the tiebreaking text, getting the best two out of three. As she anxiously waited for confirmation of her win, tears streamed down her face.

The teen dismisses the idea that she focuses too much on virtual communications, saying that while she has sometimes had her phone taken away from her in school, she keeps good grades, performs in school plays and socializes with friends — in person — on the weekends.

In between, she finds time to send about 400 to 470 texts a day. Among her uses of the text messages? Studying for exams with friends, which she says is better done by text because she can look back at the messages to review.

The finalists, all 22 or younger, were among 250,000 people who tried to get spots in the competition. Some won their spots at the Manhattan finals by being the fastest people to text responses to televised ads.

It's the third year for the texting competition, sponsored by LG Electronics Inc.'s mobile-phones division. But it's the first time that it was held at a flashy sound stage with an illuminated platform and surrounded by TV cameras. LG, based in Seoul, South Korea, is considering using the footage in a televised special of some kind.

Twenty-year-old Jackie Boyd, who came in fifth in the competition, said she usually prefers text messages to phone calls because they get through faster and they're more private — leaving her unworried about other people listening in.

"You can get more of what you really truly want to say" across with texting, said the Syracuse University psychology major. "Especially if it's an argument, you don't have to worry about saying the wrong thing.

"And if you don't want to respond, you can always say, 'Oh, I didn't get your text.'"

Cool eh? During the holidays, I thought I texted a lot. Like hundred plus a day and my phone is like a month old only yet I have sent about 2000 plus texts. Thought that was plenty but I am WAY wrong. Lol. Oh yeah. I love what Jackie Boyd said. "And if you don't want to respond, you can always say, 'Oh, I didn't get your text." Lol!

A Bowl of Rambutan With Love

I bet no one else's daddy does this. Peels the rambutans and then cuts the flesh out of the seeds and chill them for you. Best daddy ever!

Cute Fellow And The Beast

ATTENTION: To all fans of Adam Lambert, this MAY NOT be your cup of tea. So take the warning and do not curse me for what I am about to say.

I was browsing the net yesterday and stumble upon some pictures on Yahoo! (they always have good ones on celebrities). And they had 2 pictures that caught my attention and I knew I had to blog about it somehow. Lol!

Earlier this week, this year's American Idol LOSING finalist (LOL!) told Rolling Stone magazine that he is indeed gay. Suprise? Nah!! I believe he has been protraying himself as one all along. And a friend of mine (who is a guy) did say he totally looks like one. And I couldn't agree more especially since I saw him in this.

This is what I call the BEAST. Excuse me for my good/poor taste in fashion. But this definately sucks. The make up, the hair and the HIDEOUS pants. GOSH!! And he has announced that he is gonna come up with an album soon. That is one album you will not see on my racks. I have heard him during the competition and I must say that I am sick of his screaming voice and theaterical face. Get a life! Lol!

Next is the CUTE FELLOW and he is of course the WINNER of this year's American Idol.

Seen here, he is dressed in just jeans and t-shirt (he sang the national anthem at the NBA Finals which saw LA Lakers clinching their 15th title). And guess what? He looks SO MUCH BETTER.

DIFFERENT BLOCK!!!

To those of you who know me well enough, you'll know what I meant. Lol!

So anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to DIFFERENT BLOCK!!!

At least I remembered a birthday this time. Lol.

So all the best in life to Yip Foon Yee and take care always.

Have a great one!!

Fishing with Daddy

On Saturday, I went over to this pond at Tasik Utama to fish! Lol. My dad made me go actually and he even made a bet that if I don't land any fish, he'll give me RM50. Well, he had to make that bet since I have been on numeral fishing trips with him and they were all FISHLESS! Unfortunately, when he made that bet, we landed so many fish and I myself landed SEVEN fish! Yay!

My first fish!!

My brother's first fish! He threw that one back as it was rather small.

The fishes I caught. I released thWee as they were also small.

One of my catch!

Waterfall at Gunung Ledang

As I've mentioned in Pictures!, my family and I went to Gunung Ledang today. It is actually situated in Segamat of all places. Haha! Anyway, the place is nice and it was fun to hike and just hang out by its waterfall.

My brother is dreaming.

Weird hairdo. Lol!

My brother is pretty 'manja'. -Sigh-

Overall, the hike wasn't tough. We only went like 900 meters up the mountain. The water is FREAKING COLD. I could feel my bones shivering. Lol! And the place is actually clean. So in short, it was awesome.

Pictures!

My family and I went to Gunung Ledang today. Not to hike the mountain but to just have fun by its waterfall. And I spoted this.

5 girls, washing each others' hair. Lol!

I Am In

So I finally get the official word on the MHS agent thingy and I am so suprised that I am asked to orientate INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS. Both Soo Chen and darling also actually. But I guess TJ arranged that as we have good command of English. Anyway, training will start on the 19th and the irony is..it is in Melaka. Haha! So I guess, in a way I am still available for dates till the 25th, people. If not till 18th. Still wanna go on dates with me and 'chia' me? Lol! Let me know and I will be happy to go especially if you 'chia' me. Lol!

By the way, can't believe my 2 months break is coming to an end and it actually moved REALLY FAST towards the end. Haha! So darling, you wouldn't be a dead soul from 19th onwards.

Oh yeah. Since my training is in Melaka, if it gets too bored, I guess I will just come back home. Haha! If I could.. -sigh- Anyway, I am totally looking forward to it especially to see darling and ADHD Petrie. Haha.

Pictures!

Crab.

Huge? Eating a prawn?

Nah. Empty shell. Eaten by me already. And my bro and I arranged our shells that way. Haha.
